Dear all,

I saw in a reading exam a sentence like, "Banningcars into city centers would see an improvement in public transport."

Is it usual to use "see" this way? Does this "see" mean "cause" or "bring about"? Or is it just an anthropomorphic use?

Note my corrections above. "would see" here means "would result in".
