Circus Days Again (by Enid Blyton) contains this sentence:

All animals are good with you.

Could we rewrite the sentence as 'All animals are good to you'? And any difference between the two sentences?

I think the original sentence is fine. "Be good with" means behave well so the animals are good with you implies that they will not be dangerous; they will be fun to be around. You may enjoy their company.
