I am wondering if my sentence sounds natural.

Because of the production error, the launch of the new BMW model has been delayed.

If the reader/listener already knows what this production error is, the first "the" is OK. If not, use "a production error".

Once again, the sentence would be smoother if you reversed the clauses and left out the comma.
