[Grammar] because of what anyone else was doing

(because of + noun clause)

3.I chose the habits because anyone else was doing them.
(because + clause)

Are all of them acceptable?

You need 'everyone' or 'someone', not 'anyone'.

(because of + noun clause)

2. I chose the habits, for example, jogging, swimming etc because of that somebody else was doing them.
(because of + noun clause)

3.I chose the habits, for example, jogging, swimming etc because somebody else was doing them.
(because + clause)

Are all of them acceptable?

I'd write, "I chose jogging, swimming etc., because of what somebody else was doing." (Though 'everyone' makes more sense.)
1 and 3 are OK. 2 is not grammatical. " ... because everyone else was doing them" is possible.

Those are activities - not habits.

Or they're hobbies or sports.

Habits are things like smoking, drinking too much, biting your nails etc.
