C. It is an idiom meaning "happened" or "resulted".

Someone asked "would answer B. make sense when you want to express that she just enjoyed talking about it, didn't really plan to act on it?".

Anyway I think answer B is correct as well. It's just not the best one logically.

The sentence with answer B wouldn't have much meaning for me. At best, I would think that the house came without a garage or something like that. :wink:
