Is my sentence grammatically correct?

Bob entered the pub, scanned the interior and, satisfied that none of the people he knew were there, went straight for the bar and ordered a double scotch.

Yes. I'd probably say "straight to the bar" or even "straight up to the bar" but "for" isn't wrong.
