I am wondering if it is correct to use the preposition "at" and "in" and the following sentences?

1. She was brought up at a farm.
2. He was brought up at the coast.
3. Bob was brought up in a little village.
4. They were brought up in a rich suburb.

See above.

I'd be more likely to say 'on the coast'.
