I have tried to use "bundle up" in my sentence. I am wondering if the sentence sounds natural. Is it correct to use just one "a" at the beginning?

Karin bundled up in a thick coat, scarf and woolly hat and stepped out into the cold night.

Would they use "wrap up" instead and write this?

Karin wrapped up in a thick coat, scarf and woolly hat and stepped out into the cold night.

In both, I would add the reflexive pronoun "herself" before "up".
