Hi Group,

She got burned out (I don't if this is well written) means exhausted, worn out, pooped? Pretty much the same thing or not?

Thanks in advance,
Antonio.

Yes, yes, and yes. :D

When a candle burns out, there's nothing left. No light, no fire, no wax, no energy. To be burned out means, to have exhausted all your energy.

EX: Studying burns me out.
EX: That run we had the morning really burned us out.
EX: I'm burned out! I've been working since 7 this morning.
EX: Talking to Sam really burns me out. All Sam does is talk, talk, talk.
EX: If you don't take a break, you're going to burn out!

Note, burned is also spelled burnt.

The opposite of burned out is charge up or juiced up, right? I know a good one, my batteries are running low or you can also say in the opposite way, I need to recharge my batteries, both are ok, right?

If I am missing more words related to this context, please let me know.

Thanks in advance,
Antonio.
