Butterfly

The sun glistens off of the drops of dew
On the blades of grass.
I sun myself, feeling
The warmth on my skin,
Feeling my juices flowing
As I get ready to fly.
I turn and I run into the wind.
I spread my wings. Like a butterfly.
I leap and I am airborne,
Soaring thru the sky.
Soon I am soaring over the rooftops
Flying thru the sunrays,
Floating on the wind.

I like your poem, it's nice! ;)
I've also written a poem...

How to see

A little bee
just to see
A little bee
on my knee
A little bee
just for me
A little bee
to the tea
A little bee
just to share
and to fly through the air
He does not see
how people can be
warm and nice
or cold as ice
But you know
how to go
be warm and nice
you'll sing in paradise

Do you like it?

Oh oeps, I wrote 'A little bee, to the tea'
That must be 'A little bee, for the tea'

I wish I could make such a poem too... but I'm not very good at that.
Does anyone have tips for me to practice some more and maybe there will be a poem on this forum that I wrote...

I wish you will manage.
Simply listen to your heart and let the words playing in your head.
I am impatient to read yours.

Just like a little singing bird,
A poem wants to be heard.

:)

(Say: "If I write a poem and wish to read it to others....")

:)

why is the sun as hot
like a little warm spot
in the blue sky
so high
it catches the eye
warm in the sun
sunbathe for fun
run
over the green, green grass
a thick vegetable mass
jump in the air
together as a pair
fall on the ground
spin around
be mild
be thrilled!
