Which is correct:
1-He called out for somebody to help him.
2-He cried out for somebody to help him.
3-He cried for somebody to help him.

All of these are okay, but there are differences in the meanings of each.

1) The help is not so urgently needed

2) The help is urgently needed

3) The help is urgently needed, but to me this one feels like the person is giving up on help arriving. Don't ask me why! :lol:
