Which one is more correct to say?
"I was called BY my best man few minutes ago....."
Or
"I was called FROM my best man few minutes ago...."
Generally speaking, when do we use BY and when FROM alon with the verb CALL. So far, I have tought that BY is mostly used if some person gives us a call, and FROM if that is being done by some institution (Ministry, Court....). Is there any difference in using those two?
