came up or came with ?

Hey all

Someone asked me about this sentence :

He did not have money before, but he ............. some money right now.

a) came up
b) came with

I told him I think the first option is the correct one. is that right ?

I don't think either is correct. The second would be acceptable if you changed "right now" to, for example, "this time." Are you sure that "came up with" is not one of the options?

"He came up with the money" is right.

"If you don't come up with money by tomorrow, your kneecaps get broken," said his drug dealer.
"He didn't have the money on hand, but was able to come up with it by begging from friends."
