Hey guy’s I was wondering if anyone could help me with the following sentence please:
‘As the students walked out of Mr B’s lesson one said to the other:
What did you think of Mr B’s lesson?
It wasn’t as fun as Mr A’s Lesson but we learnt so much more!’
I think they learnt more in Mr B’s lesson, is this correct? I have worked out the student could have two possible viewpoints:
1. Speakers Viewpoint: Didn’t enjoy Mr B’s lesson as much so expected to learn less in Mr B’s lesson but learnt more.
2. Speakers Viewpoint: Mr A’s lesson was more fun so expected to learn less in Mr A’s lesson but learnt more.
Is viewpoint 2 incorrect as Mr B’s lesson is the subject of the sentence?
Thank you very much for any help and time. I really appreciate it.
