i have written a composition and i have some mistakes I don´t know how to correct:

started thinking to call (problem with the preposition and the tense)
appeared in her bedroom (wrong preposition)
i left it anywhere (anywhere doesn´t suit there)
thanks very much!

Can you send the composition via email? I cannot correct your preposition, without context.
For example : " A ghost appeared in her bedroom " is correct. In contrast, "A ghost was appeared in her bedroom " is not correct.

Why don't you post the sentences in which you have used these and let people comment on them? You could also post the whole composition in the forum for Editing and Writing Topics.

A ghost appeared in her bedroom. She was scared. She didn't know what to do. She lay still, petrified. She waited for what was coming. She waited, feeling a terror such as she had never known before, her sweat soaking the sheets she was lying on. Time seemed to stand still as she awaited her fate.
