[Grammar] Can I describe such action as this sentence?

Assuming two things : A and B; I want to put A into BoxA , put B into BoxB, can I say:

I put A and B into BoxA and BoxB separately.


YES, I press the simple & concise example just in order to clarify a kind of expression to imply certain "parallel" , "identical" actions , oftentimes resorting to the word "separately". I hope you acknowledge what I mean and push out a good explanation. Thanks !

I put A and B into boxes A and B respectively.
