Hello everyone
I'd like to ask if I can phrase a sentence this way.

Known in the world the ecological movement Greenpeace or human rights protection organization Transparency International can be reckoned among this group.

How about:

Transparency International can be reckoned among the world's most recognized ecological groups, such as Greenpeace or other major human rights organizations.

I'm not crazy about the word "reckoned" - how about using "considered or regarded"?

IT is considered to be among . . .

IT is regarded as one of the . . . .

I think I phrased the sentence in a wrong way. The intended meaning is as follows:
There are two groups of organizations, i.e. they are divided into two groups. The sentence is about the first group.
The ecological movement Greenpeace (first organization) and the Transparency International (second organization) are considered to be in this first group. The phrase "known in the world" relates to the ecological movement Greenpeace only.

Your problem is the way you started your sentence.

"Known in the world [???for what/as what???]..."

Is there a reference to this "group" in a previous sentence.

Earlier the author says that NGOs can be divided into two groups. Then he describes the first group and talks about functions of organizations belonging to this group. And then he says that Greenpeace and Transparency International can be considered among this group.

The author does not say for what, or as what Greenpeace is known. He simply means that this organization is well-known in the world.

Better to say "Internationally well-known" or "Internationally famous" or "Globally well-known/famous"
