We could use aboard for all of them, especially in a humorous or ironic context, but mostly we use aboard for ships/boats and for conveyances evolved from ships. Mostly, we are:

on a bike/bicycle/tricycle (variants of the same thing)
on a horse/donkey
aboard a boat (or on a boat)
aboard a hot air balloon or, oddly, in a hot air balloon. Of course we are not actually inside the balloon itself but we are in the attached basket.
aboard the space shuttle
aboard a submarine
in an army tank (mostly we think of being inside)
aboard the surf board
'aboard a board' sounds odd, so we are on a surfboard
aboard the jet ski
We might think this machine is related to a boat because it goes on water, but really, its more related to a motorcycle, so we are on a jet ski.

khauff85,

We recommend posting a question on one forum only initially. If you do not get a satisfactory answer from that forum and you feel that you have exhausted its possibilities, then of course trying a different forum might help. It is only courteous however, to tell the second forum that you have already asked the question on another forum and then give a precis of the answers you received there, or provide a link to it, along with an explanation of why you are now looking elsewhere.

I'm closing this thread as it's been adequately covered in at least two forums.
