Can I use the present when I am writing in the future?

Hello all

Well, I am wondering if I am writing about something imaginary

should I use the future? and if so can I mix between the present and the future?

is the following paragraph is correct?

I have always imagined that while I am traveling across an ocean the plane will fall down and I will struggle to survive ... taking off my shoes and leaving my stuff running to the nearest exit and slidin down wearing the life jacket and blowin in it red tubes and because I am not a good swimmer I'll face some challenge till I reached a boat or something ... but haven't yet got the chance =D

No, it sounds like it's all over the place (tense-wise).

Present / Present progressive:
"I have often imagined that I am traveling in a plane and the plane falls down and I'm struggling to survive ... I'm taking off my shoes and leaving my stuff, running to the nearest exit ..."

Future:
I have often imagined that one day I will be traveling across an ocean in a plane, and the plane will fall down and I will struggle to survive ... I'll be taking off my shoes and leaving my stuff, running to the nearest exit ..."

Conditional
I have often imagined that, if I travelled across an ocean in a plane, the plane would fall down and I would struggle to survive ... I'd be taking off my shoes and leaving my stuff, running to the nearest exit ..."
