Hello all members of the forum!
It is a well-known that that women give birth to a baby girl or a baby boy but what about men who suffer from gallstones or kidney stones? Can they be said to "give birth to" stones although it has nothing to do with real birth by a woman?
Is it possible for me to say "This man has just given birth to a few gallstones"?
What do you think?
Thank you.

Fine but how would I have to express this to make myself understood if I were in your country.
What do you usually say on such occasions in everyday English?

"This man has just passed a few gallstones"?

Is this the only way of expressing this thought?

They're the only two ways I know of. "He has gallstones" means they're still in the body. "He has passed gallstones" means they're now out of the body.
