Can somebody help me correct these sentences?

2) How far apart between Montreal and Quebac.

2) How far apart are Montreal and Quebac.

1) I used my credit card to pay for something that only cost 50 cents.

2) How far apart are Montreal and Quebec (note spelling of Quebec)?

In the second sentence, if you want to use the word "between" you would be better off saying:

2) How many miles/kilometres are there between Montreal and Quebec?

Don't forget the question mark.
