1) The game is still far from finished/finishing/over.
2) The project is still far from finished/finishing/completion.
3) How far off /far are you from finishing the project?
4) How much longer do you need to complete the project?

1) The game is still far from being finished/ being over/ finishing/ completion.

2) The project is still far from being finished/ being over/ finishing/ completion.

Third sentence is right in my opinion with the choices shown.

Fourth one is correct too.

1) The game is still far from finished/finishing/over. :tick: You don't need "being".
2) The project is still far from finished/finishing/completion. :tick: (although I am less inclined to use "finishing" for a project than I am for a game) Again, you don't need being".
3) How [STRIKE]far off/[/STRIKE]far are you from finishing the project? "off" serves no useful purpose here.
4) How much longer do you need to complete the project? :tick:
