Hello!
Which is the correct passive form:
Cattle is raised on ranches.
Cattle are raised on ranches.
Actually, I'd like to know if noun "cattle" is followed by a singular or plural form of a verb. Thank you.

Cattle is plural (cow, calf, bull, steer, or heifer are all singular) and is followed by a plural form of the verb - so "cattle are raised on ranches" would be the correct form.
