Hi there,
It depends what you are trying to stress or emphasise:
1. Geeta says he often receives dollar payments
2. Geeta says he often receives dollar payments
3. Geeta says he often receives dollar payments
If it's number 2, you are stressing either:
1. That he receives payments of one dollar only (in which case add 'one' before 'dollar')
2. That the payments he receives are in dollar currency (as opposed to euro, sterling etc, in which case say 'payments in dollars').
