Hi all

I wonder if this sentence sounds acceptable

My brother passed on 3 payments and now he is heavily in debt

Does the position of pass on in the sentence make sense?

Is there any other way i can say it !

Thank you

Not a teacher.

Do you mean he failed to make payment three times? Or failed to pay three bills he had to pay?

Or that he refused to accept money from someone or something?

Your brother has skipped 3 payments of his bill. So he is deep in dept.
(he has forgotten or something)
OR
Your brother has failed to pay 3 payments of his bill. So he is deep in dept.
(he was not able to pay them on time)

You cannot expect a crystal clear answer to a question which can have three different meanings.

You need to answer SoothingDave's question first.
