Dear teachers,

Would you be kind enough to tell me whether the following sentences give a true rendering of the relevant situation?

You should not have gone out in this rain, now you have a cold in your head.
But, darling, I have a copy of my own, you needn’t have brought me another one.
It was Sunday, and I did not have to go to the office.
Everything’s all right. You see you needn’t have worried.
You are out of breath. You should not have run, you know how bad it is for you.
It was really warm, and we did not have to wear our heavy coats.
You should not have told her about it.

Thank you for your efforts.

Regards,

V.
