checking sentences

Hi

I just want to check these two sentences if they are correct or not ?
the first one :
There have been several instances of violence at some schools, probably some of them refer to some dangerous sports such as boxing .
the second one :
Intitial researches said that the tea may be useful in treating some diseases ,but they have not yet been confirmed .

See above. Please take care with your punctuation. You do not put a space before a full stop, only after one. The same rule applies to commas and colons.
