I want to make sure what the word "chemistry" exactly means in the sentence below, it means "reaction," "natural effect of any phenomenon" or something else?

It refers to the mix of individuals and how they interact. Similar to a how different chemicals, when combined properly create the desired outcome, so do the right combination of individuals create a good outcome.
