Dear teachers,

I learned in the textbook that on Christmas Eve people would eat turkey. However, I was also told that there are fish dinner and meat dinner for Christmas dinner. Is it true? If it is what's the reason for that?

Thank you in advance.

Turkey is normally eaten on Christmas day, and in some countries (Catholic mostly,I believe) fish is eaten on the 24th. ;-)
