I am wondering if my sentence is grammatically correct. Is it correct to say, "from which fruit he made..."?

Clive's orchard contained dozens of apple trees from which fruit he made jam every year.

It might be correct, but it is not at all natural.

You could say "from which he made" because no one would think he used the wood or leaves in his jam - only the apples.

I'd be more likely to say "Clive's orchard contained dozens of apple trees and every year he used their fruit to make jam."
