I would like to ask about verbs coinicide, overlap and snap.

Are the following correct and have identical meaning?

1. Some definitions of words might overlap for some contexts.
2. Some definitions of words might snap for some contexts.
3. Some definitions of words might coincide for some context.

Thank you.

1 and 3 seem OK. 2 doesn't work.

"Snap" has a completely different meaning. "Overlap" and "coincide" do not mean the same but in your context, they are okay.

Their meanings overlap, but they don't coincide.

Their meanings overlap, but they don't coincide.
What is the difference between overlap and coincide from respect of meanings?

Thank you.
