Hi all,
What is the meaning of «to come to a pitch»?

Context:
«...his investigations were coming to a pitch at precisely the same moment...»
Sort of coming to an end?

Thank you so much

Well, i hope i wasn't so rude... Please, excuse me if i did
I really meant you are always ready to help the learner in the fight, and for sure that can be called a challenge. So I meant your are on our side, always ready to lend a hand.
