how do you say when one goes to a few shops just to compare the prices of a same product with no commitment of buying it at that time?

-are you gonna buy it?

-no, i am just comparing prices!

or

-no, i am just collecting prices!

or

-no, i am just checking prices!

browse = to look through or over (something) casually: browsed the newspaper; browsing the gift shops for souvenirs.

browse = shop around; not necessarily buying

shop around = look for the best bargain, opportunity, or the like, as in

This job offers only minimum wage so she decided to shop around for one with better pay.

"I don't need help, I'm just browsing"
