I'm not sure what you are trying to say about the postman - whether there is some complaint about him. If not, leave that bit out. If it is relevant, explain what your complaint is.

By the way, this is normal practice for registered items that need signing for. If you're not at home on the first delivery attempt, they expect you to go and pick it up.
