When someone praises you about something you've done.
Should we say ' Thanks for the compliment or compliments ' ? In my opinion, it should be in plural form to mean the general compliments but how about only one compliment from the person concerned ?
eg. A. You really did a great job. I doubt anyone else can handle it that way.
B. Thanks for the compliment(s) ?
