When the students said to the teacher, in front of all the other students "Why do we have to read the passage aloud? And why don't you discuss our queries? What you're doing is not at all useful for us!very threatening to the teacher's qulity face" these comments were very threatening to the teacher's quality face.
Could you please kindly explain if "quality face" means "his quality as a teacher was doubted"?
