Hello everyone
I'd like to ask if I should use conduct or conducting in the following sentence. And is the sentence good-sounding?

The Sanitary Laboratory Coordinator coordinates the work of sanitary specialists and sanitary technicians to conduct/conducting necessary research, measurings and other technical aspects.

Hi KLPNO !

I'm not a teacher, nor a native english speaker, but I guess what you want to mean is that it is the coordinator who is conducting researches, measurings and so on thanks to sanitary specialists and sanitary technicians. Then the right use is TO CONDUCT.

Conducting is grammaticaly correct but then it means that it's the sanitary technicians who are conducting the research.

I'm not a 100% sure on the last point though :-D. I tend to rely on intuition more than on grammar explanations when it comes to speaking foreign languages .
