Consider the three sentences below:
(1)60% of Europeans consider Israel the greastest threat to world peace.
(2)43% of the American people consider Israel as a threat to world.
(3)Although 83 percent of Americans, including 78 percent of men, would encourage a loved one to enter the nursing profession, only 21 percent would consider nursing as a career for themselves.

Between(1) and (2),which is correct?

If "as" is left out in (3),is sentence(3) still correct?

1&2 are both used, though I prefer 1. If you take 'as' out of 3, you change the meaning- it suggests they a working as nurses, but don't ragerd it as a career.;-)
