Something that I've always wanted to do..not necessarily on a large scale....even 2 or 3 groups a week would satisfy me. It's hard to get a job when there is a lot of teachers and not many positions.

So I'm seriously considering starting my own lessons.

Would be relatively cheap I think to rent a room and pay insurance.

However I'm a virgin in relation to such venture's.

I'd appreciate any suggestions as to how I could make this work...such as how to advertise...how to appeal to students..any words which might help I'd appreciate

Thanks
Alan

What are the existing schools like in your area? How much competition is there? Are prices rising or falling?

Are there any large identifiable groups of p[otential students (occupation, ethinicity, etc) that you know or can target?
