a) by setting up own website
b) via E Bay (this is written as eBay)

People sell their products either by "setting up their own website" or "on eBay".

I would simply say that they are "searching for business opportunities on the internet". They are not looking for products or people!

b) May I know the proper expression?

This is definitely not proper English. She should say "the client found my details on the (inter)net", or "my client found me on the net".
