Do the sentences below sound good or not?

He decided on a short stay at the hotel.
He decided on a long stay at the hotel.

They sound good.

Note that a better title would have been A stay at the hotel.

The title suggested wouldn't have been good since I was not sure if the words 'short' or 'long' were used correctly :)
Thanks for your answer:)

Then you could have used 'short/long stay?' The point is that your thread title should give us some idea of what the thread is about.
