Hi,

could you please tell me whether the following sentence is correct:

Deadlines for delivery of the requested basic documents shall be agreed on a case-by-case basis, but shall not exceed 5 days from the date of submission of the relevant request.

Is it possible to say "deadlines shall not exceed ...."?

The sentence looks ok.

You can repeat "deadlines" but it is not really necessary.
