Letter 2

Since we are going to produce a bilingual journal , I would like to recommend Ms. Tee to spearhead the publication of the college journal with immediate effect .
I believe she has the capability of handling in both languages without any difficulty .

From now on , I am no longer in-charge of this publication .However , I will continue to assist them should they require my help .

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the trust that you have in me to handle above-mentioned task earlier .

That is fine except that history should not be capitalized. Also, the periods are in funny places. You should put a space after them, not before.

The committe has fixed the following time and time to further discuss the revision of the syllabus :
Time : 3.00 p.m.
Date : 17/11/2003

Say:

  • The committee has decided on the following date and time, etc.

Since we are going to produce a bilingual journal , I would like to recommend Ms. Tee to spearhead the publication of the college journal with immediate effect .
I believe she has the capability of handling in both languages without any difficulty .

Say:

  • Since we are going to produce a bilingual journal, I would like to recommend Ms. Tee to spearhead the publication of the college journal, and she would take over those responsibilities immediately after her appointment to that job. I believe she has the capability of writing in either language without any difficulty.

You could also say is capable of instead of has the capability of.

From now on , I am no longer in-charge of this publication .However , I will continue to assist them should they require my help .

Who is them? You should identify who them refers to. Also, say: I will no longer be in charge, etc.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the trust that you have in me to handle above-mentioned task earlier .

Say:

  • I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the trust that you have placed in me to (mention specific task).

Mention the specific task involved. In any case, you can't use above-mentioned task earlier.

:)
