To be "up front" about something is to be honest and straightforward. The person is saying he has been withholding something when he says he hasn't been up front about it.

The phrase "to pull an all-nighter" means to spend all night doing something. The reason for "pull" being part of that expression eludes me.

It's music lingo. To jam with someone is to play music with them. Have you been invited to jam with somebody?
