Does chuckling out loud count? I have found my relatives from Scotland quite difficult to understand at times. I work with accents so I'm particularly attentive when I listen to non-native English speakers. Perhaps your English is good, but your spelling and grammar could use help.:) But then, I'm not of the internet age. The roll of my son's eyes when I told him he misspelled probably as prolly told me that.

I'm sorry, but what do expect for free? It's $50.00 an hour for my critiques.:) However, I will say that I enjoyed the vernacular you employed. You would be good at writing dialogue. It reminded me of Huck Finn.
You have the mischievous bent I enjoy in young people. You help keep us oldies on our toes.

I am an oldie from Ireland and enjoyed the posts. I agree that the cheeky monkey from Scotland is asking for too much, but they are a tight bunch up there? :-D

Aye, our accent in the north of Ireland resembles the Scottish in many ways, not only in the speed of the words, but also in the actual words used. It all adds up to the spice in life.
