Please make the following in bold clear for me.

1. I usually count when doing a routine task.

Is this saying just "count the numbers"?

2. I felt that everything I did was an effort.

Is this saying "everything I did was done with a lot of difficulty"?

3. I could not get "going."

Does the above mean "I could not start doing anything"?

1 I presume it means count the number of times they perform the task, or the stages of the task.
