Are the following setneces correct?

About a halt year ago, last summer, I had a cross-country travel as one of a student at XX university and my school supported this travel. It took more than 20 day and about 17 to 18 days, I realized that it was hard to control my mind.

:up: There are two mistakes in the sentence. halt should be half. more than 20 days should be less than 20 days.:up:
