Which of these answers are possible when someone asks you, e.g. to sign a very bad contract?

1 I'd rather dance naked through a barnyard full of hungry chickens.
2 I'd rather cut my hands off than sign this contract.
3 This would be the worst decision of my life, so I better let it be.
4 Do you really think I'm that stupid?

The first one is a very folksy colloquialism, but I suppose it might work if you were dealing with similarly folksy people.

However, I'd expect any group of people who'd speak like that to spit on their hands and shake rather than sign an inked contract....

The second one is extreme if taken literally, but again, depending upon the context and crowd, drama might be called for.

They are all fine though I wonder about #3 at least in Canadian English.

3 This would be the worst decision of my life, so I better let it be.

"Let it be" usually means something like "leave someone/it alone" and it sounds a bit old fashioned to me in your example with that context.

John has had a rough day. Let him be for a couple of hours. He will be fine when he settles down.

I think these are much better alternatives:

This would be the worst decision of my life, so I should give it a miss.

This would be the worst decision of my life, so I will pass on it.

This would be the worst decision of my life, so I won't do it.

The first two are extreme, but you are not really going to do these things. You are being sarcastic and making fun of the proposal and those offering it. So in that spirit these first two examples are fine.

The last one is very common when someone is trying to convince you to change your mind and you are getting annoyed.
