Degrading a meeting

Degrading a meeting,I can meet you tomorrow at 1pm.What does degrading a meeting mean here?

I belive, there is a list for the meetings to be held, and those meetings are arranged in order of importance. So one of the meetings is going to be delayed in order to make room for a new meeting that is of more importance.

This explanation may be right; in fact it's the only explanation I can think of. But the word is 'downgrading'. I'm not sure what 'degrading' a meeting might involve, but I wouldn't want to be there if it happened. ;-)
