I am wondering if my sentence is grammatically correct.

Despite being in the UK for decades, Siegfried could not imagine life without products from his homeland, like sauerkraut, bratwurst, strudel and German beer.

Is he able to get these products in the UK?

I think he is able to get these products in the UK if he goes to "Lidl," or " Aldi," which are large German supermarket chains which have shops all over Europe.

Then, your original sentence is okay.
